The Lux Center of Counseling and Education is a mental and behavioral health center and group practice. We are hiring a trauma-informed therapist with experience working with adults who can work remotely in the afternoons and early evenings as a 1099 contractor.

At The Lux Center of Counseling and Education, our goal is to focus on the well-being of each client and family. We provide therapeutic services for adults via telehealth. Our mission is to honor each person's inner experience and support healing through evidence-based therapeutic methods.

We seek a licensed professional passionate about helping individuals resolve personal feelings, conflicts, and problems. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to our company's philosophy of treating clients with respect and dignity and dedicated to evidence-based treatment and documentation. We are looking for a therapist who loves to focus on emotional development, behavior, goal setting, and cognitive skills. Experience in play therapy and EMDR is a plus. Pay is per diem at a competitive rate and "no show" protection.

Job Types: Contract, 1099 contractor, licensed professional: $75 - 90 per clinical hour

Education: Master's with a LMHC, LSCW, or LMFT in Florida

Experience: Child & family counseling: 1 year (Required)
