Stephanie Ycasa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Social Work, with a focus on Mental Health and Trauma, from the University of Denver in 2023. Stephanie has over 8 years working with children, adolescents, and their families within school and clinical settings. Stephanie is fluent in both English and Spanish. In session, Stephanie uses a multifaceted therapeutic skillset that includes evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client. She integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address cognitive distortions and enhance emotional regulation. Stephanie also uses play therapy techniques to create a safe space for expression, mindfulness practices to promote self-awareness and relaxation, and Motivational Interviewing to enhance motivation and goal-setting.
