Shahaf Bachar is a dedicated mental health counselor with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Originally from Israel, Shahaf’s personal experiences navigating significant cultural transitions and global events have shaped her deep understanding of resilience, identity, and healing.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has a special interest in trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, and the complex ways that culture and life transitions impact mental health. Shahaf is trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Adlerian Therapy. She also draws on strengths-based and client-centered methods to tailor interventions to each individual’s unique needs, nutrition, and position body image. Shahaf speaks English and Hebrew. She works primarily with adolescents and adults aged 14 and older.
